Update for Parents/Carers
Following our recent Ofsted inspection, I am pleased to enclose the inspection report, in accordance with section 14(1) of the Education Act 2005. This is the final version of the report. It will be published in the next few days at http://reports.ofsted.gov.uk. The report will also be available on our school website.
As you will read the overall effectiveness of our school was judged to be good and the report outlines a number of strengths and key findings for our school. One of which was the promotion of a culture of respect based on mutual understanding where pupils are polite and courteous to one another and adults. This highlights how proud we should be of our children and their ability to promote such a positive ethos.
The report goes on to identify what we need to do as a school to improve and I would like to take this opportunity to share with you and reassure you that we have already begun to implement strategies to make improvements both in practice and within the environment.
If anyone feels they would like to discuss the report any further please do not hesitate to contact myself or Mr Wilkins to arrange an appropriate appointment to do so.
